The Loch Ness Monster

Hey guys !!
After my previous post on Mythical creatures (specifically the Kraken)...I just thought of another mythical creature The Loch Ness Monster.... I specifically chose this as I  have visited this place where this mythical creature is claimed to be.....So, I just thought of sharing my personal experience with you including some super cool facts on this exciting animal!😃

The Loch Ness Monster

This mythical creature is said to be inhabiting a loch ( which is basically an arm of the sea...something like a lake) called the Loch Ness in Scotland ( to be more specific the Scottish Highlands).
The Loch Ness monster is lovingly called as Nessie by the locals.

Loch Ness monster 'might be real' after scientists make ...

This is how the animal is said to look like.
The story of this animal actually goes back to 565 AD where it was spotted for the 1st time. It said that a person saw this animal eat up his friend.
But the legend became stronger in 1933 when 2 people claimed of seeing a dragon like monster go into the lake. This story was put up in all newspapers and the story starts here.
Many people started visiting the Loch Ness and tried hunting down the "monster"( Nessie Hunting 😅)
Researchers even undertook sonar explorations to locate this monster.
Some claimed that it might be a large eel.
While some say it might be a Plesiosaur ( a marine reptile that went extinct around 65.5 million years ago).
There were many photos taken...but most of them were proved to be fake ones.

All I have said till now is History, now let us come to the present...( My personal account of Loch Ness, Scotland).

So...I am here to give you an account on the Loch Ness  in the present. As you all might have guessed , currently the Loch Ness is a extremely famous tourist spot. It is an magnificent and beautiful lake that catches your eyes immediately though it is freezing cold. You also get to go boating in the Loch Ness ( yes you are right...the exact same lake where Nessie is most likely to be) while the tour guide entertains you with stories of our hero Nessie. They also let you yourself ride the boat hoping to see Nessie along the way😜

There are stores just outside the Loch Ness full of Nessie Merchandise like cute soft toys depicting Nessie, Nessie dresses and also Nessie being depicted playing a bagpipe and lots more. Just outside the store there is a statue showing Nessie as a ferocious sea animal.

The Loch Ness really is an very fascinating place to visit. I hope all you at least get a chance to visit it once.
