The Kraken

Here we meet again in another exciting and spellbinding post .....I am pretty sure most of you are engrossed in myths about Mythical Creatures.  

When I say mythical creatures I am sure all of you would have come up with pictures of Unicorns, Pegasus, Centaurs, ......and ya mythical creatures have been widely featured in fantasy stories ....like

 Percy Jackson's Pegasus : Blackjack and Harry Potter's Hippogriff: Buckbeak....well....Lot's more.😅

So here I am with one of the most deadly mythical creatures of all time....'THE KRAKEN" 

So how many of you have heard of the Kraken.... I am sure most of you would have surely read about it in books or watched movies. So here I am to with some super exciting, super electrifying facts on this horrifying mythical creature.....😉.

Firstly what is a KRAKEN???

A Kraken is a giant squid but it is way massive, gigantic, colossal and humongous version of a giant squid. So can you all imagine how huge it is....well it is way bigger than you can imagine..!.

It was one of the most terrifying creature of the water that haunted the oceans in the legends.

So,

So the creature that you see here is a Kraken....and this is how it it is depicted in the legends. It is said that the kraken can smash a ship leaving no trace of the existence of the ship. It terrorised the sailors and explorers of those times.

According to the Norse myths the Kraken resided in the Coasts of Norway and Greenland.

Many sightings of the "Kraken" is said to have been made since the 12th century....But many people state that Giant Squids been mistaken for "The Kraken".

Therefore it is said that the Kraken is actually based on the real life creature, Giant Squid

Conversely many people have also said that the Kraken is real and did exist. Well some also say that there was more than one Kraken.

  Few legends say that the Kraken was as big as few islands .

The Kraken is also said to be immortal.

The Kraken is widely featured in Fictional movies and books.

Some instances are .....The Kraken is featured in one of the most celebrated book 20,000 Leagues under the Sea by Jules Verne and also Pirates of the Caribbean.

Some people also believe that the Kraken.....Even now lies deep under the ocean asleep.......So if in case the Kraken plans on waking up any time soon then I am sure Sea voyages and beaches won't be the same...So ....let us hope for the best.
