Pseudoscience: The Sequel

 Hey guys!

Here we meet in another post "Pseudoscience: The Sequel. In this post I will be given you all some super fascinating examples of Pseudoscience. So, without much ado....let's jump in!!!

To have a quick brush up of my previous post, Pseudoscience is anything that is partially factual as well as scientific. Now let's see some examples.....

1. Telekinesis

Telekinesis or psychokinesis is the physical ability of a person to influence any physically object without any physical interaction. In simple word it is basically like you stare at something.....let us take an example of a cricket ball, well you stare at the ball (let's assume that it is kept on a table) and even without you having any physical interaction with the ball the ball floats up as if gravity has gone *poof*. Sounds spooky?😰 I know it seems like the stuff you actually find in movies where the people freeze things mid air, levitation and many more.
But science opposes this because science believes that the human brain waves do not have so much of power to control things that are not in direct contact with the human body
Since the past many years quiet many people have claimed to have telekinetic ability but most of them have proved to be trickery while others are claimed as co-incidence or lack of proof.
Though this might sound fascinating there is very less proof of it existing hence it is considered pseudoscience (Though I really wish it did existπŸ˜…πŸ˜…).

2. Telepathy

Telepathy is the capability of transferring thoughts from one person to other without any physical means of communication.
Let's take a simple example, assume that your friend and you are sitting in two ends of the class and the teacher suddenly asks you a question on something she was droning about and....you don't know the answer, you look at your friend sitting in the other end of the class (with puppy eyesπŸ₯Ί) for help. Now your friend just can't shout the answer out so he uses telepathy, He thinks hard of the 'answer' and you can kind of hear the anwer in your head😳 and ya, you say the correct answer the teacher smiles, well the rest is History....πŸ˜….  So even telepathy has been claimed to be true in many ways...as telepathy is also somewhat related to mind reading and there a many people who claim themselves mind readers.
Telepathy has not been scientifically proven but is a really debated topic in pseudoscience.
There is also a myth (well it is said it is a myth) that twins are capable of telepathy between themselves. Compared to telekinesis, telepathy has more chance of being true!...Well let us hope for the best. Who knows in future we might not even need to use our mouth to speak....πŸ˜…

3.Teleportation

Teleportation is the means of travel from one place to another without any physical means of transport. Teleportation has been widely implemented in books. For example, In The Harry Potter novel there is this concept called Apparition which is nothing but teleportation.
It is basically, you are in your house and you suddenly want to go to Italy...So all you have to do is picture Italy in your mind and *poof* you land in Italy!. Pretty cool right?.πŸ˜‡
Teleportation used to be a pretty mythical idea where in earlier times, the time of the Gods...they could well could appear and reappear wherever they wanted to.
Even now scientists have tested teleportation and they have figured out that teleporting physical matter is possible yet they still haven't found the way to transfer thoughts. So, basically if a human teleports to another place, he physical is fine but he loses all his memories, he doesn't remember who he is, or where he is, why is he doing this etc. Problematic right? But actually teleportation is my most favourite among the three...πŸ˜‰.

So that's all in this post...and here ends our discussion on pseudoscience!
This is just 3 important and interesting ones that I have written on!..Pseudoscience is really an interesting topic and do continue exploring..
Hope you all enjoyed!πŸ’“
Until next time!!!!
